Terms and Conditions for Editing Services

1. Book Submission:

   • By submitting your book or manuscript ("Work") for editing services provided by Fourteenth Avenue Press, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
   • You retain full ownership and copyright of your Work. However, by submitting your Work, you grant Fourteenth Avenue Press the non-exclusive right to create a copy document consisting of suggested edits, revisions, and modifications to your Work for the purpose of providing editing services. 

2. Payment:

   • Payment for editing services is due upon submission of your Work.
   • Fourteenth Avenue Press reserves the right to withhold services until payment is received in full.
   • All payments must be made in dollars and via the PayPal payment method or credit card.

3. Refunds:

   • Refunds will be provided only in accordance with the Fourteenth Avenue Press' refund policy.
   • Refunds may be subject to deduction of processing fees or charges incurred by the Fourteenth Avenue Press.

4. Confidentiality:

   • Fourteenth Avenue Press agrees to maintain the confidentiality of your Work and any information provided by you.
   • Fourteenth Avenue Press will not disclose, distribute, or share your Work or personal information with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

5. Quality of Service:

   • Fourteenth Avenue Press will make every effort to provide high-quality editing services to your satisfaction.
   • However, Fourteenth Avenue Press provides work done by humans and does not guarantee that the edited Work will be 100% error-free or meet your specific preferences or expectations. We do our very best for you.

6. Turnaround Time:

   • Fourteenth Avenue Press has provided an estimated turnaround time for completing the editing services.
   • Turnaround times may vary depending on the length and complexity of the Work and current workload.

7. Communication:

   • You agree to provide clear and timely communication with Fourteenth Avenue Press regarding any questions, concerns, or revisions related to the editing process.

8. Indemnification:

   • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fourteenth Avenue Press and its contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to your Work or use of the editing services.

9. Governing Law:

   • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions:

• Fourteenth Avenue Press reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Company's website.

By submitting your Work for editing services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
